A Passion for Coffee and People Allows a Dream to Come True

With a passion for coffee and a love to work with people, Scott Robison started Regency Coffee & Vending in 1981 to give office coffee service to clients in the Kansas City Area.  He opened the business in Kansas City, Kansas.  It took a lot of hard work, and with Nancy's patience, the business started to prosper. 

It's a Family Business

Nancy joined the company in 1985.  As things continued to grow, she became the President of the company.  They moved the location to Lenexa. Their son, Jerry joined the business after school.  Jerry quickly learned the business.  Operations became Jerry's niche and he now manages vending and the warehouse.

A Permanent Location is Acquired

In 1994, Regency Coffee & Vending purchased a building in Olathe. As business continued to grow, and additional space was needed, Regency bought a second building next to the current one, doubling the size of their business space.

Business Expands Into Other Directions

Part of the business included refurbishing their equipment back to manufacturer's specifications.  With the move to Olathe, the refurbishing business became a separate organization, thus  The Refurb-Shop was born!  The Refurb-Shop not only refurbishes equipment for Regency Coffee & Vending, but for outside customers, as well.  Recently, a new phase of the business was formed serving the Lake of the Ozarks area.

Regency continues to expand its business. We are the Kansas City Metro area's Slushpuppie  provider.  Regency Coffee & Vending is also now promoting Wolfgang Puck's Estate Grown Coffee, among other products.  We continue to look for new products to provide our customers with.
